RULES FOR VISITING OUR KENNEL:
- you must wear shoe covers when entering our home,
these are provided for you. we recommend you don't wear flip flops or
high heels.
- everyone must sanitize their hands with our sanitizer before handling a puppy.
- puppies are not to be handled by any one other then myself before they are 1 week old.
- if your puppy is under 5 oz you will be asked to use a face mask when handling the puppy. these tiny babies get sick very easy.
- you must be seated at all times when holding a puppy.
- we
ask that you do not hold the puppy over the floor or in the air, puppy
must remain in your lap at all tiimes and use both hands.
- children
under 5 are not allowed to handle puppies by themselves, parents hands
must remain on the puppy at all times when children are petting or
holding a puppy.
- if the mama gets upset you will be asked to end your visit with your puppy.
- if for some reason the puppy is not comfortable or gets upset it must be returned to its mama immediantly.
- puppies are not to be held for longer then half an hour at a time.
- do not pet dogs through the gate in the kitchen without asking first.
- no
one other then myself or my husband are to pick up or put back a puppy
in its pen. this is very important as mamas tend to get protective over
their babies and we dont want anyone getting hurt.
- you
are not allowed to handle someone elses puppy, unless you are looking
at pups that do not have a deposit down on them, you are only permited
to handle your puppy.
- if you have
children with you, please keep an eye on your kids and have them remain
seated at all times. alot of noise and running around can upset our
mamas and we dont want them stressed.
- we ask that you do not bring your other animals to our home.
- please do not bring other friends or family members besides those residing in your home with you. the less people around the puppy before it recieves its shots the better.
- you
are not allowed to take the puppy out of our home at any time before
its ready to leave. we have had people want to take their puppy out to
their car to show someone. the puppy must remain inside our home.
- please
respect our family and do not call after 9 pm or before 9 am. i am
available for questions if need be but we do have small children and my
husband works long shifts.
- If you are not comfortable with these rules then we ask that you do not show up for
visitation, everyone must follow the rules we have set forth for the
safety of our current and future puppies. their health is our number
one concern.
